What goes on a birthday treat table
The version that photographs best and feeds a crowd is three or four treat types in the same two colors. Variety in shape, not in palette. A first birthday in blush and gold, a tenth in neon, a fortieth in black and rose gold. The theme lives in the color and the finish, not in a hundred different items.
- Custom Oreos carry the name and the age best. Flat surface, clean lettering.
- Cake pops read as the fun item and kids go for them first.
- Pretzel rods give you height in the display and the salty note that keeps adults coming back.
- Cakesicles work as the centerpiece. One or two dozen is usually plenty.
- Jumbo marshmallows and rice krispie treats fill the table and cost less per piece.
How many treats for a birthday party
- 15 to 20 guests: two dozen total, two treat types.
- 30 to 40 guests: the Classic package at $225, four dozen across four types.
- 60 guests and up: the Deluxe package at $325, plus a dozen cakesicles as the centerpiece.
If there is a birthday cake too, one to two pieces per guest is plenty. If treats are the whole dessert, plan on three.

Putting the name and age on them
Names, ages, and short phrases are done by hand on the Oreos and cakesicles. If you want a photo of the birthday kid on the treats, that is edible photo printing and it adds $10 to $15 a dozen. Grad style portraits, pet photos, and cartoon characters all print well.
Timing
Two to three weeks ahead is the sweet spot. Spring and early summer book up first because of graduations and communions. Treats are made fresh close to your date and picked up on Staten Island the day before or the morning of.
