Bridesmaid proposal treats are a small box of hand decorated treats you give each girl when you ask her to be in the wedding. Sprinkled Sweets makes them on Staten Island with her first name piped on by hand and the ask lettered across the front. Pricing starts at $40 a dozen, one dozen fills about three boxes, and most bridal parties come in between $45 and $135. Order two to three weeks ahead and pick up locally.
What a bridesmaid proposal box actually holds
The ask is the whole point, so the box stays small. Three to four pieces, two treat types, one palette. A bride asking six girls needs two dozen total. A bride asking nine needs three. That is the entire order.
What works inside:
- Custom Oreos are the piece that carries the words. Flat surface, clean lettering, so Will You Be My Bridesmaid reads across two or three of them in a row.
- Cakesicles are the one she photographs. One per box is plenty and it is what ends up on her story.
- Pretzel rods give the box height and keep it from reading like a plate of cookies.
- Jumbo marshmallows take a piped monogram well and fill space cheaply.
- Rice krispie treats are the safe pick if anyone in the group does not like cake.
Names, titles, and the ask
Hand lettering is included. Her first name, the date you are asking, and any of these lines go on at no extra charge:
- Will You Be My Bridesmaid
- Will You Be My Maid of Honor, or Matron of Honor
- Will You Be My Flower Girl
- I Cannot Say I Do Without You
- Bride Tribe, or the last name plus Crew
Most brides order one dozen in the bridesmaid design and a separate half dozen for the maid of honor in a different finish, so hers is obviously hers when she opens it. Junior bridesmaids and flower girls usually get the same colors in a softer palette.
If you want a photo of the two of you on the treat, that is edible photo printing and it adds $10 to $15 a dozen. It prints sharpest from a close cropped photo of two faces. A wide group shot loses too much detail at Oreo size.
How many to order
- Bridal party of 4: one and a half dozen, three pieces per box.
- Bridal party of 6: two dozen, four pieces per box.
- Bridal party of 8 to 9: three dozen, plus a half dozen lettered for the maid of honor.
- Party of 10 or more, or a proposal brunch: the Petite package at $150 covers the boxes and leaves a small tray for the table.
If you are handing them out at a brunch rather than one at a time, add a dozen for the table. People eat while they wait.

Colors
Two colors, not five. The palette that reads best in a proposal photo is one soft base and one metallic: blush and gold, sage and cream, dusty blue and silver, champagne and ivory. If you already know your wedding colors, use those, because the same palette carries straight through to your bridal shower treats and later to your wedding favors, and the whole run of photos matches.
If you have no colors picked yet, blush and gold is the default for a reason. It photographs cleanly against a white box and against any tablecloth.
Timing
Two to three weeks ahead. Bridesmaid proposals tend to happen nine to twelve months before the wedding, right after the engagement settles down, so this is usually the first treat order a bride places with me. Wedding favors are the one that needs six to eight weeks, not these.
Treats are made fresh close to your date and last about two weeks sealed at room temperature, so you can pick everything up at once and hand boxes out over a week if the girls are scattered. Keep them out of the refrigerator, which dulls the finish, and out of a hot car.
How ordering works
- Send your details. Use the order builder, text 718-715-5740, or DM @sprinkledsweetsxo. I need the date, your colors, the first names, and who is the maid of honor.
- I send a quote. You see the exact total before anything is due.
- A 50% retainer holds the date. Venmo, Zelle, or cash. The balance is due at pickup.
