What a team dessert table actually needs
A banquet table is different from a birthday table. The room is usually a hall, the treats sit out for two or three hours, and half the crowd is grabbing something one handed. The pieces need to travel well, hold their shape at room temperature, and read as team colors from across the room.
Two colors, three or four treat types. That is the whole formula. Green and white, navy and gold, red and black, whatever is on the jersey. The team identity comes through the palette and the numbers, not from a dozen different designs competing with each other.
- Custom Oreos are the workhorse. Flat surface, so jersey numbers, initials and the team name all sit clean on them.
- Pretzel rods stand up in a jar and give the table height. They also read as the salty option, which the parents go for.
- Rice krispie treats are the piece the players actually finish. Big, filling, and they cost less per head than everything else.
- Jumbo marshmallows take a number or a stripe beautifully and they photograph well next to the trophies.
- Cake pops and cakesicles work as the centerpiece. One or two dozen, sitting in a stand at the middle of the table.
Jersey numbers, names, and the team logo
The move that gets the reaction is one Oreo per player with their own jersey number, lined up in roster order. Kids find their number, parents take a picture, and it costs nothing extra because numbers and names are hand decorated.
If you want the actual team logo or a photo of the squad on the treats, that is edible photo printing and it adds $10 to $15 a dozen. Logos with a lot of fine detail print better than they pipe, so photo printing is the right call for a crest, a mascot head, or a real team photo. Straight numbers and initials should stay hand done, they look sharper. More on how the lettering works on the custom Oreos page.
How many treats for a team party
- Players and coaches only, 15 to 20 people: two dozen total, two treat types.
- Team plus parents, 30 to 40 people: the Classic package at $225, four dozen across four types.
- Full banquet with families, 60 and up: the Deluxe package at $325, plus a dozen cakesicles as the centerpiece.
If there is a sheet cake too, one to two pieces per guest is plenty. If the treats are the whole dessert, plan on three. There is a longer breakdown on the how many treats per person page.

Senior night and trophy party favors
Individually wrapped is the format for anything handed to a person rather than set on a table. Each treat goes in a clear bag with a ribbon in the team colors, so it survives the ride home in a gym bag.
Common orders in this category: a wrapped set of four for every player at the last home game, a small favor bag at the awards dinner, a thank you set for the coaching staff with their name on it, and a graduation crossover order when the seniors are getting graduation treats the same month.
Timing around the season
Two to three weeks ahead is the sweet spot. The two crunches are late fall, when football, soccer and cheer all wrap up inside a few weeks of each other, and late spring for baseball, softball, lacrosse and track. Those weekends book first. Championship and playoff dates are the hard ones because nobody knows the date until a week out, so text me early, tell me the range, and I will hold what I can.
Treats are made fresh close to your date and picked up on Staten Island the day before or the morning of.
How ordering works
- Send your details. Use the order builder, text 718-715-5740, or DM @sprinkledsweetsxo. Give me the date, the sport, your team colors, the roster count, and roughly how many people are coming.
- I send a quote. You see the exact total before anything is due, which matters when a team parent is collecting from everybody.
- A 50% retainer holds the date. Venmo, Zelle, or cash. The balance is due at pickup.
- Pick up on Staten Island. Trays are packed so nothing shifts on the ride to the hall.
Payment
Venmo at @jennine-pece, Zelle to 718-715-5740, or cash at pickup. A 50% retainer reserves your date and the rest is due when you pick up. See the full payment options.
