Sprinkled Sweets makes custom teacher appreciation treats on Staten Island: decorated Oreos, pretzel rods, rice krispie treats, and jumbo marshmallows with the teacher's name or the school colors. A single dozen for one teacher runs $40 to $45, and the $150 Petite package covers a whole grade team or staff room. Order two to three weeks ahead and pick up locally on Staten Island.
When teachers get thanked, and why it books up
There are three moments Staten Island parents order for. Teacher Appreciation Week in early May is the big one. The end of June, when the year wraps, is a close second. And the first week of September, when a class parent wants to start the year on the right foot. All three fill my calendar fast, so the earlier you lock the date, the better your choices.
The nice part about a treat gift is that it does not sit in a drawer like another mug. A decorated dozen gets shared in the staff room, photographed, and finished by the end of the day. It says thank you and then it disappears, which is exactly what a busy teacher wants.
Gift for one teacher, or the whole staff room
The order looks different depending on who you are buying for. Here is how most Staten Island parents split it.
- One classroom teacher. A single dozen decorated Oreos or pretzel rods with the teacher's name is a clean, personal gift. $40 to $45.
- A grade team or specials teachers. Art, music, gym, and the front office add up quickly. Two to three dozen across a couple of treat types covers 5 to 8 staff.
- The whole staff room. For 30 to 40 teachers and aides, the Classic package at $225 gives you four dozen across four types, enough for a real spread on the counter.
- A retirement or milestone. A themed dozen in school colors with the name and years of service reads like a keepsake, not a snack.
How many treats to order
- One teacher: one dozen, one or two treat types.
- 5 to 8 staff: the Petite package at $150, three dozen across three types.
- Whole staff room, 30 to 40 people: the Classic package at $225, four dozen across four types.
- Two classes combining, 60 plus: the Deluxe package at $325, plus an extra dozen if treats are the only dessert.
If you are not sure how your headcount maps to dozens, the how many treats per person guide lays it out for 20 to 100 people.
What to decorate them with
The details that make a teacher gift land are the ones that name the person. Custom Oreos carry a teacher's name and a class number best because the surface is flat and the lettering stays crisp. Pretzel rods and marshmallows fill out the tray in the school colors. Apples, pencils, little chalkboards, and a plain "Thank You" all decorate well by hand.
If you want the actual school logo or mascot on the treats, that is edible photo printing and it adds $10 to $15 a dozen. It is the same printing my corporate logo treats use, so a PTA that wants the school crest on every Oreo gets a sharp, matched result.

Let one class parent handle it
The easiest way to do a group gift is to pick one class parent to run it. That person collects the money, sends me the details, pays the 50% retainer to hold the date, and picks up a single packed tray. Everyone chips in, one person coordinates, and the teacher gets one beautiful spread instead of twenty separate bags.
Timing
Two to three weeks ahead is the sweet spot. Early May and late June are the busiest weeks of my year, so those dates go first. Treats are made fresh close to your pickup and packed so nothing shifts on the ride to school. For a short notice date, text 718-715-5740 and I will tell you what is still open.
How ordering works
- Send your details. Use the order builder, text 718-715-5740, or DM @sprinkledsweetsxo. Give me the date, the school colors, the names, and how many staff.
- I send a quote. You see the exact total before anything is due.
- A 50% retainer holds the date. Venmo, Zelle, or cash. The balance is due at pickup.
- Pick up on Staten Island. Trays are packed so the display arrives at school in one piece.
Payment
Venmo at @jennine-pece, Zelle to 718-715-5740, or cash at pickup. A 50% retainer reserves your date and the rest is due when you pick up. See the full payment options.
