You do not need a cake to end a party on a sweet note. A spread of custom Oreos, cake pops, cakesicles, pretzel rods, rice krispie treats, and jumbo marshmallows covers dessert, doubles as the decor, and travels home in a box. Sprinkled Sweets makes all of it on Staten Island in your party colors, starting at $40 a dozen, with packages at $150, $225, and $325.
Why skip the cake
A cake is one big item that has to be cut, plated, and handed out, and half of it usually goes home in foil. A treat table does the opposite. Guests take what they want when they want it, everything is already a single serving, and the display is doing double duty as your centerpiece. No knife, no plates, no leftover slab in the fridge for a week. For a lot of Staten Island parties, that is the easier call, and it photographs better too.
The trick is to treat the spread like you would a cake: one clear theme, a tight color story, and a couple of items that stand tall so the table has a focal point. Variety comes from the shapes, not from the palette.
What to put on the table instead
Pick three or four of these in the same two colors. That is what reads as intentional rather than random.
- Custom Oreos are the workhorse. Flat surface, clean lettering, so this is where the name, the date, or a short message goes. $45 a dozen.
- Cake pops are the fun bite and the first thing kids grab. They also give you the cake flavor without a cake. Special order.
- Cakesicles are your centerpiece. A filled cake in a popsicle shell, standing up in a block or a stand, they carry the wow that a cake usually does. One to two dozen is plenty. Special order.
- Pretzel rods add height and the salty note that keeps adults circling back. $40 a dozen.
- Jumbo marshmallows and rice krispie treats fill out the table and cost less per piece, so they stretch a spread for a big crowd. Marshmallows $45 to $55 a dozen, rice krispie treats $45 a dozen.
Want a face or a logo on the spread? That is edible photo printing, and it adds $10 to $15 a dozen. It is a nice way to replace the photo cake a lot of people used to order.
How much you need with no cake
This is the one number people get wrong. When there is also a cake, one to two treats per guest is fine. When treats are the whole dessert, plan on about three per guest. Here is how that shakes out.
| Guests | What to order | Ballpark |
|---|---|---|
| 15 to 20 | About five dozen across three types, one as a centerpiece | Petite $150 |
| 30 to 40 | Four to five dozen across four types | Classic $225 |
| 60 and up | Deluxe spread plus a dozen cakesicles for height | Deluxe $325 |
If you are still not sure how the counts work, the how many treats per person guide breaks it down further, and the dessert table guide covers styling the display itself.

Making the table feel like a centerpiece
Give the display two levels. Stand cakesicles up in a block or a small stand, lean pretzel rods tall in a weighted cup, and let the Oreos, marshmallows, and rice krispie treats fill in around the base. That height is what a cake normally gives you. Keep to your two colors and let the shapes carry the interest. A short garland or a single sign behind the treats finishes it without competing.
When to order
Two to three weeks ahead is the sweet spot, and six to eight weeks for wedding favors. Spring and early summer fill up first because of graduation and communion season. Everything is made fresh close to your date and packed so nothing shifts on the ride home. Need a shorter turnaround? Text 718-715-5740 and I will tell you what is open.
