What a parish usually orders
A coffee hour after the 10 o'clock is a different order than a ministry dinner or a 100th anniversary reception, and the treats should match how the room works. Here is what parishes on Staten Island order most.
- Coffee hour after Mass. Two or three treat types on trays in the hall, wrapped one per piece so nobody is reaching into a shared plate. Parish colors or liturgical season colors.
- Ministry appreciation. A small boxed set for lectors, ushers, altar servers, choir, or the Rosary Society, each box with a name on it.
- CCD and religious education. Classroom sets counted by roster, wrapped one per child, with the catechist boxed separately.
- Parish anniversary or a pastor's jubilee. The parish crest or a photo of the church printed on the Oreos, plus a dessert display for the reception.
- Feast days and parish festivals. High volume, individually wrapped, easy to hand out at a table outside.
Counts for a church hall
Two pieces per person when treats sit alongside coffee and something savory. Three per person if the treats are the only dessert.
- 15 to 20 people at a ministry meeting: the Petite package at $150, three dozen across three types.
- 30 to 40 people at coffee hour: the Classic package at $225, four dozen across four types.
- 60 to 80 people at a reception: the Deluxe package at $325, eight dozen, plus a dozen cakesicles if you want a centerpiece.
- Over 100 at a festival or an anniversary Mass: start with the Deluxe and add pretzel rods, the least expensive way to raise the piece count.

Colors, crests, and lettering
Parish colors are the easy default, and liturgical colors work just as well: purple and gold for Advent and Lent, white and gold for Easter and a jubilee, red for Pentecost and Confirmation. Hand lettering of a parish name, a ministry name, a saint's name, or a short phrase like Thank You for Serving is included in the price. If you want the parish crest or a photograph of the church building itself, that is edible photo printing and it adds $10 to $15 a dozen. Crests print cleanly on the flat surface of an Oreo, which is where most parishes put them.
Wrapping and holding in a hall
For anything served in a parish hall, individually wrapped is the right call. It keeps hands out of shared trays, survives a long morning on a folding table, and lets people take a piece home. Treats hold at room temperature for about two weeks, so a Saturday pickup for a Sunday event is normal. Keep the trays out of direct sun and away from a radiator or a warm kitchen door and the finish stays sharp all day.
Timing through the parish year
Two to three weeks of lead time is standard. Two stretches of the calendar book up first. September brings religious education kickoffs, ministry sign ups, and welcome back Sundays all at once. Late winter into spring brings Lent, First Communion, and Confirmation season, which is the busiest run of the year. For an annual parish event, a month out is better than three weeks.

- I send a quote. You see the exact total before anything is due, which matters when a committee has to approve it.

- Pick up on Staten Island. Trays are packed so nothing shifts on the ride to the hall.
