The treat that does the reveal
A gender reveal party has one job: the moment everyone finds out together. The strongest way to do that with dessert is a bite and reveal treat. The outside stays neutral in white, gold, or gray with a question mark on it. The inside is dyed pink or blue. Everyone bites at the same time and the color is the answer. Cakesicles do this best because the filled center reads clearly when you snap it open, and cake pops work the same way on a smaller scale.
You send me the result and I keep it sealed. If the parents are finding out with the guests, I plan the order so nobody sees the color early. This is one of the most common asks I get, so it is a normal part of how the order comes together.
What goes on the table
Around the reveal item, a pink and blue spread fills the table and photographs well. Variety in shape, one clean palette.

How many treats for a gender reveal
- 15 to 20 guests: two dozen total across two treat types, plus a half dozen bite and reveal cakesicles.
- 30 to 40 guests: the Classic package at $225, four dozen across four types, plus one dozen reveal cakesicles.
- 60 guests and up: the Deluxe package at $325 with two dozen reveal pieces so everyone gets the moment.
If there is a cake or cupcakes too, plan one to two pieces of dessert per guest. If treats are the whole spread, plan three.

Colors and themes that work
Classic pink and blue is the default and it never fails. If you want the table to stay neutral until the reveal, sage and cream, black and white question marks, and a "he or she" theme all keep the secret hiding inside the treats. A printed sonogram is edible photo printing and adds $10 to $15 a dozen, which is a nice touch for the grandparents.
Timing and pickup
Two to three weeks ahead is the sweet spot. Treats are made fresh close to your date and picked up on Staten Island the day before or the morning of. Trays are packed so the reveal pieces stay sealed and nothing shifts on the ride home. Since the reveal is the whole point of a gender reveal party, plan a little extra buffer so a late order does not put the timing at risk.
