Sprinkled Sweets makes homecoming and school dance treats on Staten Island in your two school colors: hand decorated Oreos, pretzel rods, rice krispie treats, jumbo marshmallows, cake pops, and cakesicles. Pricing starts at $40 a dozen and packages start at $150. Plan two pieces per student, order two to three weeks ahead, and pick up on Staten Island the day before the dance.
What a homecoming treat table needs
A dance is not a sit down party. Students walk past, take one thing, and keep moving, usually with a phone in the other hand. That changes what you order.
Everything gets wrapped individually. A wrapped pretzel rod goes in a pocket. An unwrapped one gets picked up, put back down, and left there. Wrapping also keeps the pieces looking right in a gym that has been running warm since sixth period.
- Custom Oreos hold the school initials, the class year, and the homecoming date. Flat surface, clean lettering, easy to eat in one bite.
- Pretzel rods are the workhorse. They give the table height, they travel in a hand, and the salty note breaks up a table of sweets.
- Rice krispie treats are the most filling piece for the money.
- Jumbo marshmallows photograph well and read as fancy for what they cost.
- Cake pops and cakesicles are best saved for the smaller pre dance party, since they are the pieces most likely to get knocked over on a folding table.
How many treats for a homecoming dance
Two pieces per student is the number that holds up at school events. Three if there is no cake or cookie tray.
- Pre dance photo party, 20 to 30 people: four dozen across three types. That is the Classic package at $225.
- Class or club table, 60 students: ten dozen, weighted toward pretzel rods and rice krispie treats to keep the per piece cost down.
- Full gym, 150 students: roughly 25 dozen. That is a committee order, so text me and I will build the quote around your budget.
- Homecoming court, 8 to 12 kids: one lettered box each, a half dozen inside, handed out at the assembly.

School colors and the mascot
Two colors is the right call. Most Staten Island high schools have a color pair already, and a table in exactly those two reads as school spirit from across the gym. A third color starts to look like a birthday party.
Hand lettering is included: initials, the class year, the homecoming date, a jersey number, a short phrase. The mascot is different. A full mascot with an outline, a face, and fine detail is edible photo printing, and it adds $10 to $15 a dozen. Put the mascot on the Oreos and keep the pretzel rods plain in the two colors. You get the look without paying the print charge on every dozen.
The same approach works for a pep rally or a game day table. More on that in the sports team treats guide.
The pre dance photo party
Half the homecoming orders I get are not for the school at all. They are for the house where fifteen kids meet for pictures before the dance.
That party wants a smaller, prettier table. Two dozen Oreos, a dozen cakesicles as the centerpiece, and a dozen pretzel rods standing in a jar, all in the two school colors. The parents taking pictures get the treat table in the background of every shot, which is really the point.
Timing
Two to three weeks ahead. September and October are the tightest weeks of the fall, because homecoming, back to school events, fall festivals, and Halloween all land in the same six week run. The dance dates are announced in August, so the earlier you text me the date, the better your odds of getting the week you want.
Treats are made fresh close to your date. Pickup is on Staten Island, the day before the dance or the morning of. Wrapped pieces keep about two weeks.
How ordering works
- Send your details. Use the order builder, text 718-715-5740, or DM @sprinkledsweetsxo. Give me the dance date, the school colors, the head count, and your budget.
- I send a quote. You see the exact total before anything is due, which matters if a committee has to approve it.
- A 50% retainer holds the date. Venmo, Zelle, or cash. The balance is due at pickup.
- Pick up on Staten Island. Trays are packed so nothing shifts on the ride to the gym.
Payment
Venmo at @jennine-pece, Zelle to 718-715-5740, or cash at pickup. A 50% retainer reserves your date and the rest is due when you pick up. See the full payment options.
