Sprinkled Sweets makes jumbo marshmallow treats on Staten Island for $45 to $55 a dozen. Each one is a large square marshmallow, hand dipped, decorated in your party colors, and wrapped individually. Add a printed photo or a logo for $10 to $15 more per dozen. Order two to three weeks ahead and pick up locally on Staten Island.
What a jumbo marshmallow treat actually is
Not the little ones from the bag. These are large square marshmallows, roughly two inches across, thick enough to hold a dipped shell without collapsing under it. That size matters more than people expect. One marshmallow is a full serving. A guest picks one up, eats it, and is done, which is not how a pretzel rod or a small cookie works. On a table where everything else gets taken two and three at a time, the marshmallow is the item that actually satisfies somebody.
Each one is hand dipped, finished in your colors, and wrapped individually so it stays soft and travels clean. It is the softest thing on the tray, and that contrast is the point. Next to a crisp pretzel rod and a hard shelled Oreo, the marshmallow gives people something completely different to bite into.
Why the price is a range and not one number
Jumbo marshmallows run $45 to $55 a dozen, and where you land inside that depends entirely on the design. A single color dip with a drizzle and sprinkles sits at $45. Two tone dipping, hand piped lettering, gold accents, a shaped topper, or a finish that has to be built in layers moves it up toward $55.
Nothing there is a surprise on your end. You send the idea, I send back the exact total, and you approve it before a retainer is due.
What they look like on a dessert table
Marshmallows are the volume item. They are bigger than the Oreos and shorter than the pretzel rods, which means they fill the middle layer of a display and make the tray look full without you having to buy four more dozen of something. On a dessert table built in two colors, a dozen marshmallows in the darker of the two anchors the whole arrangement.
A few finishes people ask for most:
- One color plus a drizzle. The cleanest look and the least expensive. Works for every occasion.
- Two tone dip. Half in each of your party colors, split on a diagonal. Photographs beautifully.
- Hand piped numbers. An age, a graduation year, a jersey number. Marshmallows have the most surface area of anything I make, so numbers read clearly from across the room.
- Printed photo or logo. That flat top is the best canvas on the menu for edible photo printing. Faces and logos come out sharp.
- Gold leaf and sugar pearls. For weddings, milestone birthdays, and anything black and gold.
How many to order
Because one marshmallow is a real serving, you need fewer of these than of anything else. The counts I give people:
- 15 to 20 guests: one dozen marshmallows plus two other treat types.
- 30 to 40 guests: two dozen marshmallows inside the Classic package at $225.
- 60 guests and up: three dozen inside the Deluxe package at $325.
If treats are the only dessert and there is no cake, add a dozen.

Keeping them fresh
One to two weeks at room temperature in a sealed container. Do not put them in the fridge. Cold air carries moisture, moisture dulls the finish, and a marshmallow that has been chilled loses the soft texture that made you order it. Counter, away from the window, out of a hot car. That is the whole rule.
They keep on the same schedule as rice krispie treats, so you can pick both up at once.
Timing
Two to three weeks ahead is the sweet spot. Wedding favors need six to eight weeks. Everything is made fresh in the two to three days before your date, and pickup is on Staten Island, usually the day before or the morning of.
