Sprinkled Sweets makes college send off party treats and dorm care package treats on Staten Island in any school colors: hand decorated Oreos, pretzel rods, rice krispie treats, jumbo marshmallows, cake pops and cakesicles. Pricing starts at $40 a dozen, party packages start at $150, and every piece is individually wrapped so it travels to campus without falling apart. Order two to three weeks ahead and pick up locally on Staten Island.
August on Staten Island has a rhythm to it. The car gets loaded, and before that there is a backyard full of aunts, cousins and high school friends all saying goodbye at once. The treat table earns its keep here, and the leftovers go into the box that rides up to campus.
Two different orders, one pickup
Most send off orders are really two orders.
- The party table. Three or four treat types in the two school colors, set out for everyone who comes by the house.
- The care package. One or two dozen wrapped pieces boxed on the side and sent up with them. This is the part people forget to ask for.
Both come out of the same batch on the same pickup. Tell me the split when you order and I will box them separately so the care package does not get picked over at the party.
School colors and lettering
Almost every college has two colors, which is exactly what a treat table wants. Navy and orange, scarlet and gray, maroon and white, green and gold. The design lives in the color and the finish: a two tone dip on the pretzel rods, a drizzle in the second color on the Oreos.
Hand lettering is included. Names, class years and a line like Class of 2030 get piped by hand. A school seal, mascot logo, or a photo of them in the school sweatshirt is edible photo printing and adds $10 to $15 a dozen.
What travels best to campus
A send off order lives or dies on this.
- Pretzel rods at $40 a dozen are the best value on the menu and the sturdiest thing in the box.
- Custom Oreos are the best surface for a name or a school seal. Flat, clean, and they hold their lettering.
- Jumbo marshmallows are light and forgiving, and they fill a care package box without adding weight.
- Rice krispie treats travel well and eat like a real snack, which matters more in a dorm room than on a party table.
- Cake pops and cakesicles are the party pieces. Best on the table, and not what I would put in a car for four hours in August.

How many to order
- 15 to 20 guests: two to three dozen for the table plus a dozen boxed. The Petite package at $150 covers it.
- 30 to 50 guests: the Classic package at $225, four dozen across four types, plus a boxed dozen.
- 60 guests and up: the Deluxe package at $325. Backyard parties here run bigger than the head count you planned for.
Two to three pieces per person is the working number. With a cake, closer to two. Without one, closer to three.

Packing the care package
A few things worth knowing before you load the car.
- Keep the box flat and in the back seat. A trunk in late August gets hot enough to soften a dipped treat.
- Label it. A ribbon and a tag with their name keeps it from getting opened on move in day.
- Individual wrapping is the whole point. A roommate takes one, the rest stay sealed.
- Two weeks is the honest shelf life at room temperature. Order to that number, not to what feels generous.
Timing
Two to three weeks ahead. The last two weeks of August are the heaviest send off stretch of the year and dates fill in the order they come in. Treats are made fresh and picked up on Staten Island the day before or the morning of. If your date is sooner, text me anyway and see the last minute order guide.

- I send a quote. You see the exact total before anything is due.
- A 50% retainer holds the date. Venmo, Zelle, or cash. The balance is due at pickup.
- Pick up on Staten Island. Party tray in one box, care package in another.
